Why is she up here you may ask??
She was supposed to come into rescue but it was blocked... but that's another story:(
She is up here because we want you to be aware of what can happen, what they don't tell you and the ramifications of breeding Merles.....a pup born with virtually no eyes and no sight.... you would have to be a hard -hearted soul not to be touched by this.
This is the result of a Merle to possibly a Blue Fawn mating, it takes a special kind of fool to do this and to do it for the sake of getting more Merles in a litter, knowing full well that this could be the result, it beckons belief the length that some breeders will go to.....why do they do this, well its because a small minority of people have this over whelming urge to be the 'first on the block' to have that new 'youbeaut' colour..open that instagram account and show it off. Not much to be proud of at the end of the day, wouldn't it be better if you were proud of your typical brindle Frenchie, the one who you have spent time and effort into making him/her into a loving social companion, surely that is a reward in itself and your ego.
Countless pups are discarded because of this need to have the latest trend in Frenchies, the blues, chocolates, Tri's and Merles and yes you can blame the breeder till the cows come home but ultimately its you, the purchaser who encourages these breeders to do it and charge the ridiculous prices that they do...because they know you will pay it, its that old saying of ' A fool and his money is soon parted' ...dust that with a bit of bullshit and you will buy it.
If this little rant can stop one person from pulling the wool over their eyes and then maybe they will pass that knowledge on to the next person and next....wise up people, don't encourage this sort of stupidity!
So Juno will stay on our page forever and day...her photo may change to the next latest trend but the message will remain, do your home work.
