Important Information
Welcome Ruby
Ruby possesses a fun loving , sweet nature and would make a wonderful and loyal addition to the home. She is quite energetic and playful and loves her walks, fetching a ball or to jump at balloons. When running around in the house, Ruby is always mindful and respectful of furniture.
She responds excitedly to key words, such as, "Walk", "Car", "Chuckit", "Balloons" and "dinner" to name just a few.
Ruby loves her snuggles but only in the mornings, afternoons and evenings
She likes the outdoors and would follow you everywhere to assist in garden duties.
At nighttime, Ruby can be a little stubborn when put to her own bed. She would rather sleep on the same bed as you and would turn up hours later looking for a nice comfortable spot next to you.
Ruby does have certain characteristics that require understanding, she does not like being left on her own for extended periods of time, mind you she is absolutely thrilled when you do get home ... our preference would be for retired or work from home people.
Ruby sometimes gets the itchy bitchies so a regular bath and ear cleaning are essential to keep her in tip top condition essential. (She doesn't get excited about this)
Ruby is also a little wary of strangers so it is best to tell visitors to ignore her and within a few moments she has forgiven you for intruding and all will be well in the land. Her castle, her rules. and all she wants to do is keep you safe.
Once Ruby accepts you, she is a wonderful affectionate pet to own, you just have to give her that time to adjust and you will have the most loyal girl you could ever wish for and if you start throwing a ball around, you have a friend for life.
