Boing!!!
The stunning Pressie is up for adoption! She is an active, smart, affectionate, curious and social little pupster.
At 10 months old, she has made a great start learning a lot of things, she is doing well with sit, shake, stay, crate-training, car drives and leash walking! Impressive, right? She has a way of gazing up at you lovingly with her big sweet eyes…impossible for your heart not to melt! Pressie is a big sticky beak and always needs to know what is happening, she is confident, but still looks for reassurance having faced a lot of change. She will launch up into your arms with no warning, to let you know when it’s cuddle time! When she hears ‘no’ she will protest in a silent, but melodramatic tantrum!
Any quirks?…of course! She loves to pull out every toy in her toy box, scatter them all over the room, then will decide which one she wants. Due to Pressie’s impressive jumping abilities, we think it best, if she is placed with children who are primary school aged and older, due to her occasional boisterous springy legs. Now, what can this youngster work on? The foster carer has been working very hard on Pressie’s manners and reminding her to use them, which has been made a lot easier by the fact that she is VERY food driven! She enjoys some tumble playtime with other dogs, but needs limits set, as she can go for hours, wearing both herself and other dogs out. For this reason, Pressie will only be considered for adoption into a no pre-existing pet home, as this is a current social challenge for her. She does get on very well with other dogs, so another dog being introduced down the track, would be possible, once she has grasped the concept of play boundaries.
Pressie will benefit from a regular routine, as she is a quick learner, so routine helps her adopt good habits. This is all normal young pup stuff and will be a rewarding investment for the right person or family to work on with her. She’s simply a joy!
