Leroy is the sweetest 8 mth old boy but sadly he has a broken elbow that wasn’t picked up by a previous Vet and it’s been left broken for a couple of months.
Leroy will be going into surgery on Monday, we won’t know if it can be screwed or pinned either way we will do our very best for this young man, he has so much more running to do!

Poor little Leroy Brown did not have the outcome we were hoping for.
Sadly the leg had been left for too long and so much damaged was caused that there was no hope in repairing it so our only choice was for amputation.
The good side is that he was barely using the leg so he has kind of adjusted to walking on 3 legs anyhow and being only an 8 mth old he will adjust quicker...

Leroy Brown
You are the best boy in town! Nothing is going to stop this little man from living his best life.....3 legs....no problem. Leroy certainly knows how to live for today.

This certainly hasn’t stopped this boy from living. He is the happiest of lads and is eager to please. Being a pup still Leroy doesn’t have an off switch so play and exercise is being limited slightly until he heals 100%.
He loves his dog friends and his toys. Leroy would more than likely love a companion that is a little more older and mature than himself, this will hopefully keep his activity on a lower level.  He would also be happy by himself with his humans supplying as  many balls to world has to offer!.

Leroy has been desexed, vaccinated and wormed.

He is in great health. It has been advised by our vet that he has an annual cycle of cartrophen, for the rest of his life, to ensure his joints remain supple now that there is a little more expected of them.

Leroy is such a lovable boy that makes us all realize that life really is fabulous no matter what obstacles are thrown our way.
