Goose is a dag, a little bit of an idiot child but has a heart of gold....Goose needs to get desexed and a possible soft palate op and while he is healing from that we will teach him a few manners...
Goose resource guards toys and foods. He is very reactive around food which is managed by feeding him separately from any other dogs in the house. He will scrap over toys. He walks well on a lead (pulls when excited) so you will need to keep a check on that
He plays happily with his foster carer's dogs, but he is energetic and plays quite rough. He could share a home with a sensible older dog, same size or larger, that isn't dominant, preferably female or a wussy male, it would be good if the other dog could bring down his energy levels so he wont play so rough.
He would ideally suit a home with lots of tweens and teens who have been taught or willing to learn that rough play is not on the cool things to do list.
He has IBS which is controlled by feeding raw meat mixed with Prime100 loaf. This mix has come from trial and error - other food combinations cause him to have bloody poo, if you follow our feeding requirements you should not have a problem. Goose has been desexed and had his soft palate done, he is also toilet trained.
He is very sweet and loves to climb up on your lap - he looks a lot like a baby Yoda as he laps up the attention.
Due to COVID-19 we are not able to house inspections, until that ban is lifted our hands are tied but you are more than welcome to apply.
