Important Information

Gloria has not had a good start to life, we estimate that she is a year old and weighs about 8 kilos, she has a skin condition which the pound was treating and we will continue on with that treatment, further down the track she will absolutely need her palate done and desexing.
She is not quite sure how to deal with human interaction but once she realises you are talking to her she gets onboard with the love and kisses.. it will take her a bit of time to understand there is a better life in front of her
In the meantime we will just let Gloria chill and find her feet and we will try oh so hard not to sing Gloria.

According to our vet her palate and sacculs were huge she was also sporting a very large polyp on her vocal cords which would have been inhibiting her breathtaking and eating.
The above have been taken care of by our vet.
What couldn’t be taking care of is she has a small trachea and a distorted larynx, poor Gloria has not been dealt a very kind hand.
We are fairly sure though that she will go to have a very comfortable life, we are looking forward to her being able to eat better and be able to put some weight on once she heals from her op.
She’s a great little dog full of promise and lots of love.

Little crazy Gloria is ready to find her own home to rule.
Gloria is a pocket rocket! She loves a good zoomie session and will run laps of your house and yard until she physically can’t anymore. She is a very pint-sized girl, weighing around 8kg but does still have a little more weight to put on. Putting on the weight has been a challenge, Gloria isn’t very interested in food but will guard it with her life if any other dog dare takes it from her. She is also this way with toys, beds, blankets, cardboard, water, humans, anything she finds special she will protect like it's the last thing on earth. She will happily share with her humans but other dogs are a no go. While she can be very playful and friendly towards most dogs, she can also be not very nice as well, so no other pets in the home is a must for her.
Gloria is only a puppy, so she does love to chew the things she collects, this includes your couch, coffee table, pillows, blankets, shoes, tv cords, tv remote, you name it. If it’s in her reach it belongs to her. For her safety Gloria is always supervised or in a crate when no one is home. Gloria does love her toys, as long as she has plenty of toys available, she is much less likely to chew other things but will always have a go at trying to steal the couch.
Gloria has the normal Frenchie health issues, a little bit of itchy skin but nothing too bad. She snores like a trooper. She has had her soft palate done which has helped a lot but she still snorts, grunts and can hack up her food occasionally if she gets too worked up after meal time. Gloria does have a distorted larynx and a small trachea, so extra care needs to be taken when exercising and in warmer weather. Gloria does eat dry food currently with no issues and it is the best for her right now as she doesn’t always eat a whole meal in 1 sitting and generally takes a few hours to get through a meal.
Gloria has met some children and was good with them but due to her possessiveness over things we think children over the age of 12 would be best.
Gloria needs a home with access to outside, she loves being outside rolling in the grass and doing zoomies in the garden. A large yard isn’t necessary but some grass is a must.
