Arrived in Rescue: 07/07/20
Bos is a 4 yr Frenchie/Boston with a big bold silly attitude, he’s not quite sure how to act with other dogs and he can be boisterous around people, he just needs some socialisation skills and he will be the perfect dog. He comes from a unit living situation so he is excellent around the home, not destructive and completely toilet trained... so once he settles in we will get his training started and we will keep you updated with his progress.
Bos has always lived in a apartment so he is well versed in apartment etiquette, excellent around the home and knows when and where to toilet, he will wait till you take him outside.
Bruno is beautiful inside and out.
He is energetic, affectionate, sociable, and playful. He was a solo dog with some dog fear aggression issues when he came into rescue. He has received comprehensive training and is no longer dog reactive.
He could live in a home with another calm dog. He happily cohabitates with his Foster Mum's two Frenchies. However, Bruno guards his toys. He will not drop them or share them.
He is a sweet dog that was raised in an apartment, so he is used to being taken out for 'potty'. He has only just learned that he must walk himself outside to go potty - so he might have a couple of accidents before working out the lay of the land. He is however a very clean little dog and he would really love to someones constant companion.
He pulls on the lead and will benefit from patient and consistent training, he can stress. But he is thriving in a calm, no-nonsense, firm but fair and loving environment. We firmly believe he will continue to improve given a similar home environment.
Because of his 'obsession' with toys he cannot be rehomed with a home with young children.
He is a sweet loving animal who needs a family that will give him a consistent routine and respond to him consistently. He loves to please.
Healthwise he is allergic to dust mites/dust - he used to receive cytopoint injections but only occasionally gets 1/2 an Apoquel tablet if he becomes 'pink' and itchy.
He has early-stage cataracts that do not affect him.
